Graphic files can be in bitmaps or vectors. When you send the bitmaps please ensure high resolution. The preferred bitmap formats are TIFF (.TIF), PCX, JPEG (.JPG), (.PCD), Scitex (.CT) and GIF files

Bitmaps are measured in dots per inch (dpi). They should be at least 300 dpi at the final printed size (600 dpi is preferred). Color images should meet all the requirements of grayscale images and should be saved in CMYK format. The preferred vector formats are CorelDRAW (*.CDR), Corel Presentation Exchange (*.CMX),Adobe Illustrator (*.AI, *.EPS) and other DRAW type programs (*.EPS)

Digital Cameras

When photographs captured using digital cameras should have high resolution and size settings. The preferred minimum image size is 1050 pixels in width for a single column image, and 2100 pixels in width for a two (or three if three column format) column wide image.

Graphic Submission Guidelines

Artwork Guidelines

The artwork must be cited in the text, be numbered, and have captions. Please provide art credits/copyrights for images.

Authors are encouraged to use clear graphics. The photographs should be in TIFF or JPEG files. However the screen shots can be in the form of EPS, Sun PS, TIFF, JPEG, or Windows .BMP.

Print Size

Preferred final print size: No less than 300 dpi. Please note that 72-dpi images elude clarity for print form of the journal. For screenshot please see below. As the journal is printed at a much higher resolution than a computer screen, you can avoid bitmapping (out of focus pictures) by increasing the resolution.

Screen Shots

It is ideal if you send the screen shot in 72 dpi (dots per inch). Since Photoshop is used for processing screen shot you can use big monitor. In the computer you can use the settings menu and see the screen area box and fix the resolution to high setting. You can click the window to full and capture the screen shot and this process will enable us to edit properly.

Digital Cameras

The general image size of the digital camera pictures is at 1,050 pixels in width for a single column image and 2,100 pixels for two. The preferred dpi is 300, if possible, and in sharp focus at high-contrast settings.

Embedded images in word format is not encouraged. For images, attachment in TIFF, JPEG or .eps files would help us. Images can be in grayscale or in CMYK color format.
