Author Guidelines

General Instructions to authors

The DLINE journals accept only original and unpublished research papers. All submissions will be subjected to plagiarism check. Authors should not send their submissions to other publications when they submit to DLINE. Authors are expected to follow research norms and ethics.

The paper text length is maximum 6000 words. Images and figures need to be sent separately in tiff or jpeg format with a resolution not less than 300 dpi. The paper can be either in word or pdf or latex format.

Abstract: The abstract is in Times New Roman font, fully justified in italics with the font size 9.


Keywords: four to six key words separated by commas with the font size 8 in times new roman

1. Introduction

The text of the paper should be in Times New Roman  with the font size of 9. There is no space in the beginning of the paragraphs. The text should be justified.

2. Headings and subheadings

The headings and sub headings should be in the Times New Roman font  9 bold. They should be numbered continuously.

3. Footnotes

Footnotes can be given at any place of the text from title to acknowledgement. It should be in times new roman 8  italics font.

4. Illustrations

Place illustrations (figures, tables, drawings, and photographs) in the text at the places where they are discussed, rather than at the end of the paper. Number illustrations sequentially (but number tables separately). Place the illustration numbers and caption under the illustration in 9 point times new roman normal font.
Send illustrations separately in tiff, bmp or jpeg format with the resolution of not less than 600 dpi.

5. Equations

If you are using Word, use either the Microsoft Equation Editor or the MathType add-on (http://www.mathtype.com) for equations in your paper.
Number equations consecutively with equation numbers in parentheses flush with the right margin. First use the equation editor to create the equation. Then select the “Equation” markup style. Press the tab key and write the equation number in parentheses.

6. References

For references use the arial 9 font. See the examples given below.

7. Author biographies

Author biographies should not exceed 100 words. Authors’ photos need to be in tiff or jpeg format.

The Review Process

Each submission will be processed at the first level by the Editors and, if it is suitable for  publication,  then it is sent to a minimum of two referees for double blind peer review. Manuscripts may also be subject to additional review by editorial board members. The  normal time for review is 30 to 90 days.

Copyright

Articles submitted to the journal should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time. Authors need to sign the copyright form.

Submissions Process

Authors should note that proofs are not supplied prior to publication and ensure that the paper submitted is complete and in its final form.
