Abstract: The Gaussian distribution is a continuous function approximating the exact binomial distribution of events. Using a standard Gaussian Approximation, the multi-user system performance is measured in this paper. We simulated pulse position modulation and amplitude modulation with different interfering users. We have assessed the functioning using error probability over the signal-to-noise ratio. We put the condition of the AWGN channel for signal transmission.
