  abstract = {Efforts are being made by people to reduce the electricity consumption as the world is moving towards energy reduction. For energy consumption reduction, the low-cost distributed control system is advocated in this paper. For an effective control system, a few elements such as new transducers, microcontrollers and communication models can be optimized. For this application we have used a control algorithm which is an integral part of the proposed distributed control system. Initially we plan to apply it in the ventilation system for testing the efficiency of the energy reduction system.},
