Management Information System and its Functions in Library

Abstract: Management Information system as an integrated system of man and machine for providing the information to the
operations, the management, and the decision- making functions in the organization. An MIS deals with information that is
systematically and routinely collected in accordance with a well – defined a set of rules. This paper describes the concept of
management information system, features of MIS, and main functions of management information systems in the library in a
conceptual approach.
