This paper elucidates on what the organizations and individuals could do to bring about effectiveness and efficiency in their efforts towards the production and delivery of information products and services. The authors reiterated the need for information managers to realize that defining good strategies for effective information service delivery to users is an important component of information planning for its goods and services. In order to do this effectively, the authors suggested that information managers must adopt a combination of strategies in order to meet the information needs for their clients, some of those strategies were highlighted. The authors also canvassed for information managers to adopt management by objectives and total quality management style as a mechanism for effective delivery of information services to their customers. Five gaps that cause unsuccessful service delivery were also highlighted. This paper concludes that information managers should realize that they are key players in the information industry. Hence, they should continually engage in strategies until they are able to satisfy the need of their client through effective and efficient information services delivery.}, }
