Abstract: We have characterized the Serbian language Matric Sentences using a test called as SMST. Sentences from the SMST base were used to test the influence of various types of Industrial noise to the performance SMST for SNR = 15 ÷ 10dB, on the people with normal hearing. Then we have given the experimental results using tabular and graphical format. We then did the comparison of analysis with Babble and Gaussian noise and comparisons with the International Standard IEC 60268-16. We have proved in the conclusion part about the intelligibility of speech.
