Abstract: We have deployed the programmable logic operation to develop the generalized subtraction procedure for the suppression baseline drift. We have used the Matlab environment to test it. Besides, we have used the VHDL for implementing programmable logic. The logic structure in FPGA is used for programming. The efficiency of the proposition depends how best the algorithms created can help the real-time execution in natural sequences. The developed real-time algorithm can remove the baseline drift in the ECG sample and ends. This research will serve as a model for the future developments in the subtraction procedures.
