  abstract = {This article aims to explore the application of UPI statistical model in optimizing mental health education for college students. Firstly, a brief introduction is given to the basic principles and characteristics of the UPI statistical model, and its applicability in mental health education for college students is elaborated. Then, through empirical research methods, analyze the practical application effect of the UPI statistical model in college students’ mental health education, and propose improvement strategies for the existing problems. Finally, the conclusion is drawn that the UPI statistical model has a positive role in optimizing mental health education for college students and can provide references for research and practice in related fields.
