  abstract = {The Arab Open University (AOU) uses Learning management system (LMS) Moodle for online course management based on pedagogical theory. This LMS presents a platform for many students and tutors assessments . Student performance has two forms of electronic assessment, summative assessment and formative assessment. Tutor Marking Assignments (TMAs) in AOU is an important formative assessment to be downloaded and uploaded to LMS but unfortunately handled in long mechanical cycles outside the LMS. LMS needs to be enhanced to handle the TMAs more efficiently .
