Study of the Routing Protocols in VANET
Tsvetan Marinov, Maria Nenova, Georgi Iliev
Faculty of Telecommunications at Technical University of Sofia, 8 Kl. Ohridski Blvd & Sofia 1000, Bulgaria
Abstract: Due to the spur of the communication technologies, the transmission efficiency is improving with the development of routing protocols. This development coincides with the transport systems. Out of the various network systems, the Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) is vital. The deployment of VANETs are likely to improve the issues relating to road accidents, traffic and pollution levels. This work represents the comparison of two protocols, one is the Message Transmission Protocol - MTP and another is Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector Routing - DSDV
