MOOCs are growing increasingly popular, with large enrolments. India’s MOOC initiatives include NPTEL, IITBombayX, NROER, ePG Pathshala and SWAYAM. Various online platforms offer accessibility to online courses designed to promote continual learning. MOOCs are challenging to implement in India for several reasons. In this work, we will define MOOCs and the organisations and universities that deliver them and present a fundamental analogy of the various MOOC platforms. This study examined MOOC sites and other popular MOOC platforms in India. It also mentioned some of the advantages and disadvantages of MOOC platforms. The outcome is to ascertain the most effective MOOC platform in the Indian context.}, }
