With the objective to improve public security, where avoiding terrorist attacks is an insisting priority for all
governments, and also to enhance population safety, and improve the field of vision based processing, a lot of techniques of
moving objects detection and tracking have been developed. One of the major challenges is to process images in real time
using onboard camera on a moving unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).In this paper we will present a survey of existing
methods for detecting and tracking moving objects, using unmanned aerial vehicles. Generally, in literature the proposed
methods are based on two parts, motion estimation and object detection and tracking.
