Electric vehicles (EVs) represent a clean alternative but have some limitations especially in terms of autonomy.
Therefore, efficient routing of EVs is crucial to encourage their use. This article surveys the existing research related to electric
vehicle routing problems (EVRP) and their variants. It examines EVRP in terms of their definitions, their objectives, and
algorithms proposed for solving them.
