In recent years, smartphones have surpassed the importance of one’s shadow. When an individual is functioning without a smartphone, he feels uneasy, as if something is missing or frightened of losing contact with friends and family. The study showed how UG and PG Library and Information Science students at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University used intelligent devices. The study’s objectives were met through the use of an online questionnaire. The results reveal that every respondent has a smartphone, and the most popular app among students is WhatsApp. According to the findings, respondents believe that they have difficulty solving study-related problems if Internet connectivity is unavailable. In addition, some respondents think that mobile phones distract them and impact their health. The findings of this study show that while mobile devices are beneficial for studying these days, they should be used with parental supervision. Read More Read Less

The current study intended to investigate the student’s satisfaction of the information resources use. The primary goal of the study is to find out whether the students are satisfied with the library resources and services or not. A set of 250 copies of a designed questionnaire were administrated to the students that used the library during the period of the study, out of which 230 was returned and used for analysis, and this data is used to tap the user requirements. The finding exposed that the students use the library very often, and they are satisfied with the library resources and services. It is therefore concluded that management of library should consider more attention to quality and library resources and services for the benefits of library users and the image of the library. The present study was conducted with a view to know the basic information needs, seeking behavior and satisfaction of library users of S S Agrawal College of Nursing Training College and Research Centre, Navsari in this digital era. A questionnaire method was issued to collect the data. A well-structured questionnaire, with a total of 453 were distributed to the GNM and ANM students and 423 filled-in questionnaires were received back with an overall response rate of 93.38 %. In the present survey, an effort has been made to explore the utility of various sorts of resources and user’s needs. The study also aims to identify the level of satisfaction with the information resources, services and library staff cooperation offered by the library. Finally, concludes with a number of the important suggestions which can insure high user services and obtain ultimate satisfaction of the users. Read More Read Less
