In this paper, we propose a novel approach towards the automatic construction of a geo-referenced search engine index. Our approach relies on a geo-focused crawler that incorporates a structural parser and uses GeoWordNet as a knowledge base in order to automatically deduce the geo-spatial information that is latent in the pages’ contents. Based on location-descriptive elements in the page URLs and anchor text, the crawler directs the pages to a location-sensitive downloader. This downloading module resolves the geographical references of the URL location elements and organizes them into indexable hierarchical structures. Packet Reservation Multiple Access (PRMA) is used for wireless networks. The performance parameters, such as delay and throughput, of an integrated model have been analyzed in both PRMA-CSMA/CD and PRMA-Token Ring. In order to do a numerical analysis for both PRMA-CSMA/CD and PRMA-Token Ring, we built our own simulator using MATLAB 6.5. A numerical analysis based on the performance analysis presented in this paper may help in studying the affect of wired access method CSMA/CD and Token Ring on system performance and stability of integrated wired with wireless networks. The development of the Web technology allows “anywhere-anytime” teaching and learning interactions, which we call elec- tronic learning (e-learning). E-learning needs self-learning habits as well as personal motivation to learn. Unfortunately, Indonesian students, in general, are still weak in those two important factors. It is even worse as the current e-learning system in Indonesia only accommodates the same learning material delivery method to all students. Consequently, it ignores the cognitive aspects and interactive self-learning approach based on the users characteristics.
