Content Analysis of Web Presence of University Libraries In Bihar
Abstract
The paper is an attempt to examine the contents of university library website, that has been carried on the sixteen universities in Bihar. The content available on the website was analysed according to a framework designed to meet the objectives of the study. The data was collected from the websites of universities during January to August 2015 that has been ranked using a rating scale. An analysis reveals that CUSB ranks the topmost among all the universities in Bihar followed by CNLU, MU and LNMU. The study would be helpful for the universities to know their status of website and key points that may be addressed to improve their web presence.
