Editorial and Review Process

DLINE follows a complete peer-review process. When a paper is submitted, it will be checked by the editor for basic quality. Each paper is then subjected a plagiarism check. The journals follow a double-blind review process and there are standards to observe the quality of submissions.

Pre-check

Immediately after submission, this check is initially carried out by the editor to assess:

  • Suitability of the manuscript to the journal/section/special issue;
  • Qualification and background of authors;
  • Reject the low-level papers.

Peer-review

The submissions undergo review by a minimum of two experts in the domain. The reviewers may be either independent reviewers or editorial board members. The journals follow a double-blind review process.

The reviewers are expected to provide their objective comments on the originality/novelty, methodology and design, datasets, experimentation, presentation, language, and contribution to the domain. The reviewers recommend the editors accept, or accept with major revisions, with minor revisions or reject. If the paper receives conflicting reviews from the reviewers, further reviewers will be invited to get reports. All the reviews will be placed before the Chief and Associate Editors to make objective decisions. We are committed to Interreviewers Consistency. We also publish the Inter-reviewer's consistency for each published paper. The reviewers' detailed comments are forwarded to the authors by the editors. Authors must list the revisions they carried out when submitting the revised versions. In the last ten years, no paper has been accepted without revision.

The copyright policy permits unrestricted distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. However, the data, tables and images used in the papers should not be reused unless the users get permission from the author and journal.

When the paper is cited, the citation should clearly specify the article's bibliographic data. The journal name and other bibliographic details must be stated and acknowledged.
